Meeting with Delegation of France Embassy: “Training of Trainers in Pâtisserie”
STPB, July 10th, 2014 | Cooperation that exists between STP Bandung and Institut Francais d’Indonesie has entered the second year. As a follow up of the coopertaion that has been established so far, the Institut Francais d’Indonesie visited STP Bandung, which was represented by Ms. Nabila Hkikat, Chargée de mision éducative, formation professionnelle et administrative de l'Ambassade de France en Indonésie (Person in charge of the mission fields of education, professional education, and administration of the France Embassy in Indonesia).
The meeting that was held on Thursday, July 10th, 2014, discussed about the “Training of Trainers in Pâtisserie”. The participant could be pastry lecturer and also culinary department lecturer. In this coorperation, the Institut Francais d’Indonesie will send a lecturer who will teach in patisserie to the trainers whose limited only 15 people from four institutions under the Ministry of Tourism and Economy Creative (STP Bandung, STP Bali, AKPAR Medan, and AKPAR Makassar).
Nabila also mentioned that the lecturer will come in October and provide traning for 5 to 10 days. This meeting also discussed about improving ability in patisserie, information about French pastry, and also sending student for internship or Real Work Practice in France. The result of this meeting is an agreement that STP Bandung will be the first institution who will doing this Training of Trainers in Pâtisserie. Objective and curriculum will be design by STP Bandung and trainers based on the needs of STP Bandung.
