STPB, August 5^th, 2016 | 667 new students of STP Bandung participated in the Basic Attitudes and Professional Development (PSDP) for academic year 2016/2017 from August 1^st until August 5^th. Previously, all students registered for participate in PSDP 2016 on July 25^th until July 29^th, 2016.

The opening ceremony of PSDP 2016 was held in DOME STP Bandung, on Monday, August 1^st, 2016. PSDP 2016 activity was carried out in the Campus STP Bandung and Secapa AD. After participating PSDP 2016 in campus of STP Bandung on Monday (1/8) and Tuesday (2/8), the participants followed PSDP in SECAPA AD Bandung from August 3^rd, 2016.

During the activity in Secapa AD, all participants of PSDP 2016 learnt material regarding national vision and religious harmony, also motivated by Kolonel Inf.Asep Joko Ruchwarsito,S.IP. In addition, all participants also doing marching exercise. Took place in DOME STP Bandung on Saturday (8/8), the night of inauguration ceremony of PSDP 2016, was celebrated with beautiful fireworks.

STPB, July 29^th, 2016 | The Director of STP Bandung, Mr. Anang Sutono and the Director of STP Pelita Harapan (STPPH), Mrs. Diena Mutiara Lemy signed MoU on Friday, July 29^th, 2016. Took place in the Meeting Room 1 STP Bandung, the activity was also attended by Mr. Jacob Ganef Pah (Deputy Director I for Academic Affairs), Mr. Erfin Roesfian (Deputy Director IV for Partnership and Quality Assurance), Mr. Jemmy A. Jacub, Mrs. Ina Veronika Ginting, Mr. Haryadi Darmawan, Mrs. Florence Siegers, Mrs. Irma Citra Resmi and Mr. Reza Nurizki.

On the occasion, Mrs. Diena also accompanied by Mrs. Amelda Pramezwary (the Head of Hotel Management Department of STPPH) and Mrs. Yustisia (the Head of Tourism Business Management Department of STPPH). The MoU is expected not only as a document, but also to give benefits for the students of STP Bandung and STP Pelita Harapan, through synergies performed by STP Bandung and STP Pelita Harapan.

STPB, July 27^th, 2016 | STP Bandung received a visitation from the lecturers of the Department of Technical Vocational and Education, Institute of Teacher Education, Technical Education Campus (IPGKPT) Malaysia on Thursday, July 27^th, 2016. Took place in the Hall of the 6^th floor of Ciremai Building STP Bandung, the visitation was officially welcomed by Mr. Tedi Sutadi, as the Head of Pastry Management Study Program of STP Bandung.

This comparative study visitation to STP Bandung is the 21st century of a joint program to strengthening IPGKPT-IPGKTHO as the center TVET of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. On the occasion, 32 lecturers of IPGKPT Malaysia led by Dr. Mohamad Nor Mohamad Taib discussed about practice facilities, the development of education in the context of TVET, especially in the field of Pastry, with representatives of the lecturers of Pastry Management Study Program STP Bandung.

STPB, July 27^th, 2016 | STP Bandung received a visitation from the Education Department of Hainan Province- China on Wednesday, July 27^th, 2016. Took place at the Meeting Room 1 STP Bandung, Mr. Anang Sutono (Director of STP Bandung) and Mr. Erfin Roesfian (Deputy Director IV for Partnership and Quality Assurance) welcomed the visitation.

The visitation of 15 delegation was in order to build partnerships between STP Bandung and Education Department of Hainan Province, China. Mr. Dede Kuswandi as the Head of Internship Career Center Unit (ICC) of STP Bandung and Mr. Faisal Puksi (Mandarin Language Lecturer) also attended the meeting.

STPB, July 22^nd, 2016 | STP Bandung received a comparative study visitation of STP Nusa Dua Bali on Friday, July 22^nd, 2016. The visitation as the framework of the regular agenda of faculty orientation conducted by STP Nusa Dua Bali. On the occasion, Mr. I Wayan Seniartha as the Head of Room Division Management Study Program STP Nusa Dua Bali visitation was welcomed by the Head of Room Division Management Study Program STP Bandung, Mrs. ER. Ummi Kalsum.

The comparative study was carried out for two days, to learn more about the courses of Room Division Management Studiy Program in STP Bandung through activities such as the introduction of atmosphere academic, academic system review, studium generale, discussion, application of the existing curriculum, including literature review related to the final exam, and education culture in STP Bandung.

STPB, July 20^th, 2016 | 16 participants of the training program organized by the Department of Labor followed the Pastry training held at STP Bandung. The participants will followed the training for approximately five weeks from July 18^th to August 9^th, 2016.

The training participants will be trained by lecturers and instructors from Pastry Management Study Program STP Bandung. The pastry menu cycle is different each day, including bread, pastry, chocolate, pie, biscuit, cake, as well as traditional Indonesian Cake like Bikang Kelapa Pisang, Bolu Tape, dan Tape Ketan Hitam Pudding. In the last week of training, the participants will take the practical tests.

STPB, July 19^th, 2016 | Center for Tourism Destination Studies (CTDS) STP Bandung organized a Workshop on "Development of Destination Management for Professionals Training Modules" for lecturers STP Bandung by presenting Prof. Alastair M. Morrison (Purdue University) and Ayu Masita (SwissContact) as keynote speaker.

Took place in Meeting Room Enhaii Hotel, the workshop was officially opened by the Director of STP Bandung, Mr. Anang Sutono on Tuesday, July 19^th, 2016. Mr. Felix Feitsma and Mr. Adji Kusworo (Lecturer at Gadjah Mada University) attended the workshop opening.

This workshop will be held for the next 14 days until August 3^rd, by discussing some of the material on Relationships and Community Involvement, Introduction to Destination Management, Governance and Finance for the DMOS, The Management of Visitors at Destination and also Destination Marketing and Promotion.

STPB, July 13^th, 2016 | Employees of STP Bandung, Kopensi, and Yayasan attended the Halal Bihalal STP Bandung that was held on Wednesday, July 13^th, 2016. Took place in the Convention Hall on the 2^nd floor of Mandalawangi Building, the event was organized in order to strengthen the relationship between STP Bandung family.

The event was officially opened by Mr. Rachmat Syam (Deputy Director II), and was attended by the directors of four tourism institution under the Ministry of Tourism. On the occasion, Ustadzah Hj. Farines Asdjar gave Tausiyah with the theme of morality and to help each other. The Halal Bihalal activities was closed with lunch together.

STPB, July 12^th, 2016 | Management of School of Tourism Pelita Harapan (STPPH) Lippo Karawaci Tangerang City visited STP Bandung on Tuesday, July 12^th, 2016. The visitation was led by the Chairman, Mrs. Diena M. Lemy, accompanied by the Head of Hospitality Department, Mrs. Amelda Pramezwary, the Head of Business Travel Department, Mrs. Yustisia Kristiana, and senior lecture, Mr. Demson R.H. Goeltom.

Held in Meeting Room 2 Rectorat Building, the Director of STP Bandung, Mr. Anang Sutono received the visitation, accompanied by Mr. Jacob Ganef Pah (Deputy Director I for Academic Affairs), Mr. Rachmat Syam (Deputy Director II for Human Resources and Finance), Mr. Zulkifli Harahap (Deputy Director III for Student Affairs), and Mr. Jemmy Alexander (Head of Cooperation Affairs) and Mr. Marimin as the Head of Research and Community Service Unit.

The purpose of this visitation is to develope the cooperation that has been established between STPB and STPPH in the field of Hospitality Education Curriculum, Tourism and Travel Enterprises, Student Competencies in various intra and extracurricular activities, Research and Community Service, and also lecturers.

STPB, June 28^th, 2016 | Enhaii Halal Tourism Center (EHTC) which has just inaugurated by Mr. Anang Sutono (Director STP Bandung) last Friday (24/6), held Halal Tourism Socialization on Tuesday, June 28^th, 2016. Took place in the Hall on the 6^th floor of Ciremai Building STP Bandung, the socialization was held with the theme "Strengthening Product & Service for Halal Tourism Destination: Halal Tourism Sertification and Global Market Preferences for Halal Tourism".

This Halal Tourism Socialization is intended for lecturers of STP Bandung, and also invited Mr. Hafizudin, Lc. (Sofyan Hospitality Research and Development) and Mr Solihin (ESQ Holiday Travel) as keynote speaker. Through this socialization, it is expected that faculties of STP Bandung can participate in research activities to provide recommendations on International standards Halal Tourism Destination in Indonesia.
