Year End Exhibition 2015 Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia

Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya, accompanied by the Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism Ukus Kuswara and the Echelon 1 in the Ministry of Tourism, as well as the chairman of the association of tourism, on that occasion gave an overview of the ministry's performance during 2015. " The policy in developing tourism during 2015 already on the track so that the targets that we have set has been reached, "said Arief Yahya.
Indonesia's tourism potential can be optimized in the next few years. Therefore, Kemenpar has set a target for 2016 with figures that are optimistic the number of foreign tourists amounted to 12 million with foreign exchange generated projected at Rp 172 trillion. To support the target, Kemenpar with tourism stakeholders has prepared an action plan which went on marketing and promotion strategy with a focus on strengthening the positioning and Wonderful Indonesia branding in the countries major markets. In addition to the activities in strengthening Wonderful Indonesia branding, advertising and selling activities involving the tourism business will still be conducted among others by following the activities of international tourism exhibitions in foreign countries.
Other strategic activity is also organized a familiarization trip to introduce and promote tourism by inviting foreign tourism stakeholders to visit toursm destinations in Indonesia in order ‘seeing is believing’.
