STPB, August 17^th, 2016 | The lecturers and employees of STP Bandung, and also the new students of academic year 2016/2017 followed the Flag Hoisting Ceremony to celebrate the 71 years Independence Day of Indonesia, on August 17^th, 2016.

Held in the front of DOME Malabar STP Bandung, Anang Sutono (Director) attended as be builder of the ceremony, read out the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence text and also speech written by Minister of Tourism, Mr. Arief Yahya. In the speech of Proclamation of the 71^st Independence Day of Republic Indonesia was written that Indonesia will start the Real Work.

Garut, August 21^st, 2016 | Centre for Research and Community Service (Puslitabmas) STP Bandung organized the Community Service activities at the Pakuwon Village, Cisurupan, Garut on Saturday and Sunday, August 20^th to 21^st, 2016. At the event, STP Bandung lecturers provided training on entrepreneurship, local-based cooking demonstration, an initial understanding of Halal Tourism, as well as Homestay management. This activity was conducted in order to reach the target of Pakuwon Village to become a model of Halal Tourism Village.

STPB, August 21^st, 2016 | Students of the Association of Muslim Students STP Bandung organized the Moslem Student Forum (MOSFO) 2016 on Saturday and Sunday, 20^th to 21^st of August 2016. The event was held at Masjid As Safir STP Bandung with the theme of "Access To Success".

MOSFO 2016 activity discussed about four topics, "From STPB Goes to Mecca" by Didin Samsudin Amd. Par (Owner Kabita Tea), "Moslem Creative Design" by Ahmad Hasyim (Founder Waffle Ummi), "History of STPB's Dawah" by Wisanggeni Agus Priyanto (STPB Lecturer), and "What is Halal Tourism" by R. Wisnu Rahtomo (Chief of DKM As Safir).

STPB, August 10^th, 2016 | STP Bandung held the Opening of Final Examination for the Period of August 2016 for Postgraduate, Graduate, Diploma IV, and Diploma III students. The opening was held in the Convention Hall, Mandalawangi Building STP Bandung on Monday, July 25^th, 2016 at 9 a.m until finish. It was officially opened by the Deputy Director II of Bandung Institute of Tourism, Mr. Rachmat Syam. Final Examination for the period of August 2016 will be held until August 2^nd, 2016.

This Final Examination for the Period of August 2016 was participated by 335 students, with six participants of Postgraduate Program, 58 participants of Graduate Program, 88 participants of Diploma VI, and 183 participants of Diploma III program. The participants of this month final examination is the largest number in the last five years in one period of Final Examination.

The Closing of Final Session for the Period of August 2016 was implemented on August 10^th, 2016. On that occasion, also announced the best students who obtained the highest value, on the first rank is Indira Dwi Nurdyani (ADH) with IPK 3.90, Elmi Putri Ananda (SAK) with IPK 3.78, Joanna Dian Oktavianie (MPP) with IPK 3.75, Diana Maurentifani (SDP) dengan IPK 3.73, Angela Kanigara Andria (SDP) with IPK 3.73, dan Nadia Natasha Wiharja (MDP) with IPK 3.73. There were 329 students from Graduate Program, Diploma IV, Diploma III, and 6 students from Postgraduate program who passed the final examination for the period of August 2016.

STPB, August 8^th, 2016 | STP Bandung held a Procession of New Students Admissions for Academic Year 2016/2017 in the Convention Hall on the 2^nd floor of Mandalawangi Building STP Bandung on Monday, August 8^th, 2016. The event was held as a formal acceptance of new students by the Director of STP Bandung, Anang Sutono. The event also attended by Professors, Deputy Directors, Head and Secretary of Department, Head and Secretary of Postgraduate Programme, and also Coordinator of Language Center, in the Open Session of Senate STP Bandung.

Mr. Anang Sutono as Director of STP Bandung provided a welcome speech to the new students, also introduced Senate STP Bandung to new students. This event was also followed by Studium Generale with the theme of “Build the Learning Motivation in Higher Education”, presented by Mr. Tandi Naim.

On that occasion, Mr. Ramdani from ESQ 165 Leadership Center, gave insight to the new students about how to build a vision and mission to achieve life goals in his speech. In this event, all new students were also given some topics that lasted for two days, from August 8^th until August 9^th, 2016. This Procession of New Students Admissions aims to build the new students character to be an independent and superior individual and social beings.

STPB, August 5^th, 2016 | 667 new students of STP Bandung participated in the Basic Attitudes and Professional Development (PSDP) for academic year 2016/2017 from August 1^st until August 5^th. Previously, all students registered for participate in PSDP 2016 on July 25^th until July 29^th, 2016.

The opening ceremony of PSDP 2016 was held in DOME STP Bandung, on Monday, August 1^st, 2016. PSDP 2016 activity was carried out in the Campus STP Bandung and Secapa AD. After participating PSDP 2016 in campus of STP Bandung on Monday (1/8) and Tuesday (2/8), the participants followed PSDP in SECAPA AD Bandung from August 3^rd, 2016.

During the activity in Secapa AD, all participants of PSDP 2016 learnt material regarding national vision and religious harmony, also motivated by Kolonel Inf.Asep Joko Ruchwarsito,S.IP. In addition, all participants also doing marching exercise. Took place in DOME STP Bandung on Saturday (8/8), the night of inauguration ceremony of PSDP 2016, was celebrated with beautiful fireworks.

STPB, July 29^th, 2016 | The Director of STP Bandung, Mr. Anang Sutono and the Director of STP Pelita Harapan (STPPH), Mrs. Diena Mutiara Lemy signed MoU on Friday, July 29^th, 2016. Took place in the Meeting Room 1 STP Bandung, the activity was also attended by Mr. Jacob Ganef Pah (Deputy Director I for Academic Affairs), Mr. Erfin Roesfian (Deputy Director IV for Partnership and Quality Assurance), Mr. Jemmy A. Jacub, Mrs. Ina Veronika Ginting, Mr. Haryadi Darmawan, Mrs. Florence Siegers, Mrs. Irma Citra Resmi and Mr. Reza Nurizki.

On the occasion, Mrs. Diena also accompanied by Mrs. Amelda Pramezwary (the Head of Hotel Management Department of STPPH) and Mrs. Yustisia (the Head of Tourism Business Management Department of STPPH). The MoU is expected not only as a document, but also to give benefits for the students of STP Bandung and STP Pelita Harapan, through synergies performed by STP Bandung and STP Pelita Harapan.

STPB, July 27^th, 2016 | STP Bandung received a visitation from the lecturers of the Department of Technical Vocational and Education, Institute of Teacher Education, Technical Education Campus (IPGKPT) Malaysia on Thursday, July 27^th, 2016. Took place in the Hall of the 6^th floor of Ciremai Building STP Bandung, the visitation was officially welcomed by Mr. Tedi Sutadi, as the Head of Pastry Management Study Program of STP Bandung.

This comparative study visitation to STP Bandung is the 21st century of a joint program to strengthening IPGKPT-IPGKTHO as the center TVET of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. On the occasion, 32 lecturers of IPGKPT Malaysia led by Dr. Mohamad Nor Mohamad Taib discussed about practice facilities, the development of education in the context of TVET, especially in the field of Pastry, with representatives of the lecturers of Pastry Management Study Program STP Bandung.

STPB, July 27^th, 2016 | STP Bandung received a visitation from the Education Department of Hainan Province- China on Wednesday, July 27^th, 2016. Took place at the Meeting Room 1 STP Bandung, Mr. Anang Sutono (Director of STP Bandung) and Mr. Erfin Roesfian (Deputy Director IV for Partnership and Quality Assurance) welcomed the visitation.

The visitation of 15 delegation was in order to build partnerships between STP Bandung and Education Department of Hainan Province, China. Mr. Dede Kuswandi as the Head of Internship Career Center Unit (ICC) of STP Bandung and Mr. Faisal Puksi (Mandarin Language Lecturer) also attended the meeting.

STPB, July 22^nd, 2016 | STP Bandung received a comparative study visitation of STP Nusa Dua Bali on Friday, July 22^nd, 2016. The visitation as the framework of the regular agenda of faculty orientation conducted by STP Nusa Dua Bali. On the occasion, Mr. I Wayan Seniartha as the Head of Room Division Management Study Program STP Nusa Dua Bali visitation was welcomed by the Head of Room Division Management Study Program STP Bandung, Mrs. ER. Ummi Kalsum.

The comparative study was carried out for two days, to learn more about the courses of Room Division Management Studiy Program in STP Bandung through activities such as the introduction of atmosphere academic, academic system review, studium generale, discussion, application of the existing curriculum, including literature review related to the final exam, and education culture in STP Bandung.
